How Beyond Academy online Learning works?
Beyond Academy offers live online classes that meet over group video chat. For live meetings, Beyond Academy provides a video chat app called Zoom. You don’t need to worry about logging in to Zoom- it’s handled automatically. Just click the “start video” in each lesson under your enrolled courses at scheduled time, you will be led to the online classroom.
Students are expected to complete the homework assigned by their teachers and attend virtual classroom sessions as scheduled by their teachers
How do you ensure quality assurance in online courses?
Because we value our customers, we work hard to provide the high-quality courses and excellent service they deserve. All of Beyond Academy teachers have years of experience on the subjects they are teaching. The on-boarding process includes interview, background checks, trial class and much more. We offer a review system so parents can share their experiences and learn from each other.
What technology do I need for online classes?
You’ll need to use a device with a microphone and a web cam. Most laptops, tablets and phones come with built-in camera and microphone these days. If you enroll multiple learners in one class, each should have their own device.
What’s your refund policy?
It’s important to us that everyone has a positive experience learning with Beyond Academy. If you’re dissatisfied with a class, we’ll find a way to make it right.
Here’s how we approach cancellations and refunds.
- If you need to cancel more than one week in advance of a class, you will receive a full refund.
- For long term courses (5 weeks or longer), you can receive a full refund after the first lesson if you’re not satisfied with the class. After the second lesson, there will be no refund.
- If the class is cancelled by the leader and no makeup class will be made, parents will receive a full refund. If it is rescheduled to a new date, existing enrollments will be carried over, but parents may request a refund instead.
- For shorter classes or one-time activities, refunds are provided at the teacher’s and Beyond Academy’s discretion.

Do you provide discounts for siblings or multiple kids?
Beyond Academy offers small group classes that are focused on interaction. Because of this, each child should be enrolled individually.
Are payments secure? Can I pay with Paypal?
Payments with Beyond Academy are secure. Payments can be made via credit card or Paypal.
